The Miami Valley District has 2 classes so far to offer in the Lay Servant Ministries program.
BASIC LAY SERVANT MINISTRY COURSE
This course is foundational for all courses in lay servant ministries. Participants are encouraged to discover and employ personal spiritual gifts as God intended and to consider the importance of exercising servant leadership, developing future leaders, remaining rooted in consistent spiritual practices, and being part of a group that holds members accountable in their discipleship.
Classes would be held via zoom from 7-9pm on February 20, 22, 24, 27 & March 1, 2022. Zoom links will be sent the day before each class. All sessions need to be attended in order to receive a certificate.
This class is $15.
The instructor is Nancy Byrd, CLM. She will have a syllabus for you before the class starts as there will be homework before the first class.
Your participant book needs to be purchased separately. Once you register, you will receive links on where to purchase the book.
